Trilobites

Trilobites

Trilobites 250 million years and older. Trilobites are very well-known fossil and possibly the second-most famous fossil group after the dinosaurs. Trilobites were marine arthropods that lived in a variety of ways around the globe. Some scavenged on the sea floor while some swam freely. The last of the trilobites disappeared in the mass extinction at the end of the Permian period about 250 million years ago.
